Traditional Hand-etched Brass Chowki / Chakla
Use these as little elevated platforms for your living room decor, or to display an idol in your mandir. These were traditionally used to roll rotis.
The metal workers also known as lohars, hail from a taluka in Gujrat. They are historically known for working with metal products.
They started out with doing small job works like repairing metal tools and utensils for villagers. With changing times and no work to be found in village, they reinvented the wheel by creating Kitchen Utensils and other products to keep up with changing times. They acquired new skills to make the utensils prettier to attract the new found consumer markets
This makes for a great gift for any occasion
These are all hand made, and its tiny imperfections is what makes it special.

Instructions for Care :
- Do not soak.
- Do not clean in dishwasher.
- Do not use solvents, acid, scrubbers or steel wool.
- Do not microwave.
- You can use pitambari powder to clean. Just rub some powder on surface and rinse it with water and dry it with cotton cloth.
