Traditional Terracotta Firing Process

Note: Traditional terracotta is not as strong or durable as modern ceramic because it is fired at a much lower temperature. Please place this product so that it is safe from damage.

Traditional kilns are essentially shallow pits filled with charcoal. For firing, products are placed very closely together in the pit and covered with a layer of broken pottery fragments for insulation. The process of firing usually lasts around three hours.

 Please note - that the actual colors may vary based on the screen resolution of your device. As per our experience, viewing the products on the desktop is usually  more accurate to the actual colors.
