Each painting has been made in a very small size and demands skill and precision to be able to create a composition such as this especially in pen kalamkari.

An original composition for our shop  - This beautiful Kalamkari paintings is characterized by its freehand drawing, where artists use a pen (kalam) to draw designs and fill in colors. depicts stories and characters from Hindu mythology and epics. 

The process of creating Kalamkari involves a series of steps, including:
1. Cloth Preparation: The fabric is treated with myrobalan extract to prepare it for dyeing. 
2. Outline Drawing: The artist uses a Kalam (pen) made of bamboo reeds to draw the outlines of the design. 
3. Dye Application: Natural dyes are applied to the fabric, with various colors obtained from natural sources. 
4. Color Fixing: A variety of techniques, including using alum and myrobalan, are employed to fix the dyes.
