Product Description
Hand-Painted Pattachitra - Pallanghuzi Board Game
This foldable Pallanguzhi ( Thats painted on both sides ) is a traditional two-player board game from South India that belongs to the Mancala family of sow-and-reap games.
The wooden board features two parallel rows with seven pits each, making fourteen pits in total. Each pit is traditionally filled with five to seven counters, such as cowry shells (sozhi), seeds, or pebbles.
The game is known to enhance counting, addition, subtraction, and strategic math skills.
The Box also makes an interesting decor accent - and can be used to store your little jewelry pieces as well
Painted beautifully by a Pattachitra Artist makes it striking on its own
