6" Hand-painted Gond Square Decor Plate

Gond Tribal Art is an indigenous form of traditional art from the state of Madhya Pradesh The colorful and intricate themes are usually inspired by elements of nature & said to have evolved from folk songs inspired by mythical stories of Gods.

This décor plate  has been created in more contemporary forms. While the subject motif have been simplified, it stays true for its essence in use of intricate geometrical shapes, dots, lines, and patterns packed into each of them. 

This can be used as a serving platter, a bed side knick knack holder or a decor plate

These make for a great decor accent for kids room too !
