This painting is inspired from the real Nandi statue which is located at Chamundi hills temple Mysore. The Nandi was constructed during the time of Dodda Devaraja Wodeyar (1659 - 1673), the Maharaja of the Kingdom of Mysore.
This is an original composition and was commissioned to our contemporary artist
Also, the unique treatment of letting the artwork flow on to the edge of the frame makes it a extremely striking.
