Product Description

17 inch x 12 inch Rajasthani jharokha-style mirror with a mehraab-shaped floral frame design, in two variations. Includes mirror glass.

A jharokha is an arched window that projects from a wall, and is a typical feature of Rajasthani architecture. A mehraab, on the other hand, is a recessed arched niche used in Islamic sacred architecture. Combined with traditional Rajasthani florals, they give these frames a beautiful, dream-like quality.

The florals on one variation are painted in traditional Rasjasthani colours, while the other is painted in blue and white, inspired by Jaipur's famous Bar Palladio.

This product has been hand-painted by our folk artists in Rajasthan. It has been carefully designed and created using Trove's philosophy of combining traditional folk art with unusual canvases. The result: something that is both traditional and contemporary.

Being hand painted, this product is unique in itself, and its tiny imperfections are what make it special.

Comes with a hook at the back to hang on walls.
