16" Infinity Frame in Kerala Mural - Veerali Pattu

This contemporary yet traditional decor frame is rooted in Veerali Pattu (or Veerali) which refers to the distinctive geometric patterns used as decorative backgrounds or borders in traditional Kerala mural paintings (Keraleeya Chumarchithram), featuring repetitive, precisely measured designs that frame main figures on temple walls, pillars, and palaces, adding depth and cultural significance to these ancient Indian artworks. 

The unique treatment of letting the artwork flow on to the edge of the frame makes it a extremely striking. The artist is based in rural Kerala and mostly paints on temple walls 

This has been painted by our traditional Kerala mural artist who traditionally paints on temple walls  

Comes with a hook attached on the back to hang on the wall.
