12-inch hand-painted wall decor plate painted in the Gond style, featuring three deer in different colours.

Gond tribal art is an indigenous traditional art form from the state of Madhya Pradesh. The colourful and intricate themes are mainly inspired by elements of nature and are said to have evolved from folk songs and myths about gods.

This décor plate has been created in a more contemporary form of the traditional style. While the motif has been simplified, it stays true to its essence by using intricate geometrical shapes, dots, lines, and patterns packed into each subject.

Being hand painted, this product is unique in itself, and its tiny imperfections are what make it special.

Comes with a hook at the back to hang on walls.
