Frosted Glass Installation Process

Alright, buckle up for some installation adventures! So, I was like, "Let's see how this glass covering thing is done!" after hearing about the struggles of a buyer in the US. . Online search results weren't satisfactory, so I thought, "Let's see how this is done!" Watching the process firsthand will now allow me to offer better advice to clients attempting installations themselves.
First Up!
Here's what you'll need: a squeegee, a spray bottle filled with a dilution of 3 tablespoons of dishwashing liquid and water, a soft muslin cloth, and a sharp cutter.
.
.
Step 1: Roll out the wall covering on the floor with the peel-out paper on top.
.
Step 2: Now, thoroughly clean the glass where the covering will be applied, removing any stains or dust particles. Use a mild detergent and a non-fibrous muslin cloth to wipe it dry.
.
Step 3 : Don't go solo on this one! Call in the reinforcements . While peeling off the paper from the covering, lightly spray the liquid and completely remove the paper off completely such that the covering is nicely spread out. Generously spray this part with the solvent, as it allows for easy adjustment during placement. Complete Step 4 parallely if possible, before the water on the covering dries out. .
Step 4: Don't let the glass feel left out! Give it too a generous spray of that same magical solvent.
.
Step 5:Place the covering on the glass, ensuring that the sprayed side (with adhesive) is facing the glass. Start with the top corners and have someone assist you in pulling down the covering to the bottom corners. Warning: this might feel as slippery as a banana peel, but stay patient and focused. With the solvent's powers, you can peel off and reposition with ease. So worry not!
.
Step 6: Before proceeding, Spray some more on top of the covering. Why? Because we want this squeegeeing action to be as smooth as a penguin sliding on ice. Using a squeegee, start from one top corner to the other, gradually moving down. This allows the excess liquid and bubbles to drain out at the bottom. Take your time during this step.
.
Step 7
Wait for the covering to dry, approximately 8 to 10 minutes. This provides better adherence to the glass. Inspect closely and use a sharp blade to neatly trim any excess covering on the edges.
.
Step 8
This step is optional! step back and admire your masterpiece. Marvel at your installation prowess, and if you're feeling it, treat yourself to a well-deserved drink. You've earned it!
